Directions


A. By car
Driving on the A4 motorway (Amsterdam – The Hague)
Take exit 4: Nieuw Vennep/Hillegom (N207).
Follow the traffic signs direction Hillegom (N207, Leimuiderweg).

Proceed a few kilometers. A McDonalds restaurant appears on the left-hand side. Turn right at the traffic-lights. Direction Hillegom. (N208, Leidsestraat). At the traffic-lights go straight on. Then take the 2nd exit at the 1st roundabout, the 2nd exit at the 2nd roundabout and the 3rd exit at the 3rd¬†roundabout. You are now at the Sixlaan, which will become the Stationsweg and follow the signs “Tennispark Hillegom” (the road to the Tennispark is at the left, a small one and behind a building, so make sure you don’t miss it). You will see a small parking lot, where you can park your car. Tennispark Hillegom is only a couple of hundred metres from there (you can already see the indoor hall of the tennis park from the parking lot)

For those who use navigation equipment to find the site, use Stationsweg 31, Hillegom.

B. By train
On a 5 minutes walk from the tennis park there is railway station Hillegom, with a direct link to Haarlem, Leiden and The Hague, and with 1 change of trains to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Schiphol. When you are at station Hillegom, with your back to the station, follow the road that is opposite the station (Stationsweg). After approximately 500m the entrance to the tennis park will be at your right-hand side.

From station Hillegom every half an hour a train leaves for Haarlem, at ’28 and ’58 past the hour. In Haarlem trains for Amsterdam depart 8x per hour.
For Leiden and The Hague trains depart from Hillegom at ’00 and ’30 past the hour. From Leiden trains leave for Schiphol Airport 6x per hour and for Rotterdam 4x an hour. In the evening the train to The Hague terminates at Leiden.

How long does it take by train from station Hillegom…? (approximately)

Haarlem 10 minutes, Leiden 12 minutes, Amsterdam 30 minutes (1 change of train at Haarlem), Schiphol Airport 40 minutes (1 change of train at Leiden Centraal), The Hague 35 minutes, Rotterdam 45 minutes (1 change of train at Leiden Centraal)
